(B/W)inter Wonderland

Spring finally seems to have arrived and after a winter very much in shades of grey it’s nice to see some colour. One thing the six months or so of crazy weather has been good for though is moody black and white photos. As ever we’ve been playing around with some weird and wonderful old camera gear we’ve found at car boot sales. A half frame Olympus Pen which is great for diptychs, a Zorki 4 with a neat collapsable lens and a 135mm Corsina lens which has a nice watercoloury bokeh. A great advantage of old mechanical cameras is you don’t have to worry as much about getting rained on. Here’s a selection of our favourites.
